Dear friends, USTTI team@scola and scola friends. People really a had hard time here in Zanzibar due to power cut for almost 4 weeks.

No cold drinks no cold storage for fish, meat, vegetables and so on. People were doing their groceries on daily basis.

Thanks, the power is back to normal.

Good to hear from you Custodes,

we are glad you got back safely and are happy you have power again!!

Great News, Custodes...

Electricity...running water in our homes, and other luxuries of life are something many may take for granted.  We are glad you have power back....sounds like it would be a good story for a video:

"How we survived the power outage of 2008 in Zanzibar"... even a good historical video for your children and grandchildren.
