We did Foreign Text with Vicki today.  I have learned how to do scanning with the different newspapers and learned how crop them and put them into the web. I did have a great time scanning the newspapers, and how Kwami had to remind me to keep track of the pages that were supposed to be scanned already. The rest of the morning was spent talking with Spencer about technical stuff. It was a great morning.

In the afternoon, Dan showed some of the hardware that they used at the uplink.  It was another learnng experience for me since these hardwares were just seen in books and I have not really seen a real one yet .  In the uplink, Jeremy and Leon taught us how do to the switching.  People at that place were really so conscious of the time.  Jeremy has to teach to edit shows too, especially if the time would not let them to play for an hour or so.  He taught us how he can put the flag of the country into it.  It's nice to know how things work in this part of SCOLA.

Deborah and Rebecca introduced us to Archiving.  We didn't got far though and were are supposed to get the back end of it by Mond ay.

A Birthday Party was given for the May celebrants.  It was my first time to eat and taste an ice cream cake.

The evening was spent with Dave and Terry (really wonderful and nice people ).  The roasted chicken was just delicious not to mention the salad and the cheese cake as well.  Terry is just a wonderful cook too.  We had a very good sharing with all of the other guys in the group.  Listening to their stories just give me an idea of how it is in some parts of the world.  It was a very wonderful and fruitful night.  Thank you Dave and Terry.
