Custodes Antonio Baretto is a Senior Engineer at Television Zanazibar.

It was a great opportunity for me get a slot at USTTI/ SCOLA. I have traveled a long way from Africa, the islands in the cost of East Africa Called Zanzibar.
I arrived in Washington DC a journey that took 24 hours. Dc is a great place lots of museums and monuments. I got to see the White house and the capitol.

Wed, 22 May we had an orientation at USTTI, this was basically the logistics and the overview of the DC. The following day we had a I day seminar with Satellite regulators.

Saturday, I made trip to NY to visit a friend in Albany. They had a graduation party for their daughter, meet many people over there. Had drinks and chatted. One of the guys he was actually campaigning on bio diesels, this topic really fascinated me. I thought of the farmers in Tanzania how they could make a leaving.

The next day I made a tout on NY city, visited Ground Zero, statue of Liberty and  times square. NY is quite different than DC.  It is crowded people are busy  many stores.

Monday was a memorial day, I had to wake up  early and  get to the airport for my trip to Iowa. This takes me to the second part of the training which is at Scola.

The staff here is one great family.  There is a lot to learn here, Editing, newspaper, photo and multimedia in general. I am really amazed with the stuff that I am doing looking forward to do this back home.
