SCOLA Digital Archive Search With NEXIDIA Fact Sheet.

Computer Needs:

Username & Password to SCOLA Website.
Access to the archive.
A high speed Internet connection.
Flash Player.
Mpeg2 or Mpeg4 player.

Search Tips:

Use of longer words or phrases with more than four phonemes will improve the likelihood of good search results. Note words with more than one syllable often have multiple phonemes.
Check to make sure diacritical markings are correct for right to left languages. An English example of why diacritics are important would be the pronunciation of, "The winds blow," in comparison to the pronunciation of, "Ed winds the clock." *Note: When copying and pasting words/phrases, be sure to only paste characters and not hidden formatting when using right to left languages.
Start your query with a small amount of data. (Default is 3 months for search time on the search page.)
NEXIDIA Confidence Scores 90 and above are likely to be a positive match.
